Franchised dealers in East Coast markets, including northeast Ohio, Washington, D.C., and eastern Massachusetts, have begun using ACV Auctions' mobile app that takes a vehicle condition report and alerts buyers that a 20-minute auction has begun.
The expansion comes after ACV ended 2016 entering upstate New York markets such as Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Binghamton and Albany. Dealers in western Massachusetts, Pittsburgh and northern New Jersey also began using the mobile app.
ACV Auctions will be demonstrating its app and service to franchise dealers at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Conference & Expo.
At NADA, ACV Auctions is also introducing a new incentive program aimed at dealerships in multiple states who buy and sell wholesales vehicles. In addition, the ACV Auctions team will be working to identify potential territory managers for future markets.
ACV Auctions is a mobile platform that enables used-car dealers to view, bid and purchase car inventory via online auctions. These live auctions are conducted from franchise dealer lots and last just 20 minutes to save dealers time and money, according to the company.
