MT ARLINGTON, NJ – The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) announced that J. D. Byrider Sales of Indiana, located in Carmel, has joined the IARA. J. D. Byrider is the largest used-car sales and franchise company in America, with 124 dealerships across the nation. In its more than 21 year history, Byrider has sold nearly 900,000 vehicles and has earned a 96 percent Sales Satisfaction Rating through its Dealer Services Customer Satisfaction Rating Index.

Each J.D. Byrider operates much like a car dealership and a bank, with the Byrider side responsible for sales and service and the CarNow Acceptance Company (CNAC) responsible for financing and collections.

“Customers can shop for a vehicle, arrange for financing and make payments all under one roof,”said Jim DeVoe, Jr., J.D. Byrider CEO. “J.D. Byrider has raised the standard within the buy here pay here industry by offering better cars, affordable payments and a better car care program. Every vehicle undergoes a Comprehensive Inspection and is backed by a limited warranty and a title check from Carfax or Experian. In addition, the vehicles are well maintained by skilled technicians in the J.D. Byrider Service Departments.”

This better treatment has allowed Byrider to form an additional division, CNAC Remarketing. “Vehicles bearing the CNAC Remarketing label at auctions tend to be very popular because buyers know that these vehicles have been well maintained,” said Doug Turner, Director of Asset Management for J.D. Byrider Company Stores. “The CNAC Remarketing vehicles tend to be viewed as more reliable. We’re building a reputation as a solid remarketing entity and we’re glad to be part of IARA.”
