ATLANTA – Online Vehicle Exchange (OVE) has changed its name to OVE.com to simplify its brand identity and better meet its customers’ online wholesale buying and selling needs. “Through research, we learned that dealers valued the choice and control the site provided; however, wanted to be assured that they could reach support quickly if they needed it,” said OVE.com President and CEO Jim McKnight.
OVE.com is a virtual marketplace for dealer-to-dealer and commercial consignor business transactions that occur outside of the physical wholesale auto auctions. OVE.com offers dealers the same benefits, including title processing and guaranteed payment, traditional auctions offer. At any given time, more than 10,000 vehicles are available at OVE.com.
OVE.com is supported by a new advertising campaign featuring a character known as Otto the Ferret. The campaign is focused on buyers, emphasizing dealers’ ability to search through a variety of sources to “ferret” out the vehicles they need.
At OVE.com, dealers can search and purchase vehicles for a success fee of $125. OVE.com, backed by Manheim, offers no-risk transactions with guaranteed titles.
