Gettacar, the online car buying start-up, announced April 14 that industry veteran Amit Chandarana will join the company as vice president and head of commercial, focusing on the enhancing Gettacar’s customer journey, business development and lending relationships as well as focusing on key strategic initiatives, according to a press release.

“Amit's main responsibility will be to advocate for the customer by creating an unparalleled customer experience that aligns with our mission of the being the best car buying and ownership experience," said Gettacar Founder and CEO Yossi Levi in the release.  “Specifically, he will use a customer first lens to optimize revenue and the customer’s experience.”

Chandarana joins Gettacar after leading sales, business development and strategy at digital retailing solution provider Roadster. He is a progressive automotive veteran, having held key sales, marketing, digital and operational positions at Toyota, FCA and Edmunds.
