ServNet Auctions Bolster Sales with Special Events

Several ServNet auctions consigned roughly 8,000 vehicles during special events at a number of locations this summer, and the organization has plans to host more events in the coming months.
Earlier this year, DAA Northwest's Rock & Roll Sale in July consigned 5,047 units, and sold 3,612 vehicles with an average sale price of $18,750, according to a release from ServNet. Gross sales for the event were at $67 million and 1,750 dealers were in attendance.
Meanwhile, KCI Kansas City’s Guitars and Cars sale was attended by 1,280 dealers who purchased 2,080 of the 2,555 vehicles consigned.
Carolina Auto Auction initiated the fall season with its second annual Caropoly event running from Sept. 12 through Oct. 17. The auction said it expects more than 600 dealers to attend weekly sales throughout the promotional period. On Sept. 18, Houston Auto Auction hosted its Texas Tailgate Sale, which is an annual event that brings in buyers and sellers from all over the state, and this year featured consignment topping 400 vehicles, according to a release.
Greater Rockford Auto Auction will host its GRAA Spooktacular on Oct.17, which will have over 1,000 vehicles in lane. On Oct. 25, Indiana Auto Auction will host its own Halloween-themed event. On the same day, Dealers Auto Auction of Oklahoma City will host its 30-year Anniversary Celebration. The auction expects more than 1,300 vehicles at its anniversary sale. Also, in November, KCI Kansas City will have a celebration for its 40th anniversary with 2,000 vehicles in lane.
