Further enhancing its one-stop-shop strategy to provide wholesale and retail reconditioning services in an evolving automotive industry, Manheim has promoted Marty D’Amato to vice president of reconditioning.

In this role, he will lead the company’s operations, people, processes, and technology to meet rising client demand for reconditioning services — particularly to help dealers get their vehicles front-line ready. In 2021 alone, this strategy enabled Manheim to produce more than 221,000 retail-ready vehicles.

He brings to the company nearly 20 years of experience leading large operational efforts for companies such as Amazon and Serta Simmons Bedding. As a veteran of the United States Army, he served as an assistant operations officer for a 5,200-soldier regiment.

Today, Manheim offers quality retail reconditioning expertise and services at more than half of its locations.
