Manheim recently partnered with Toyota / Lexus Financial Services to hold a special sale aboard the USS Midway where 100% of the inventory was sold, according to a company announcement.
The sale was a joint effort between Manheim San Diego and Toyota / Lexus Financial Services titled the “Heroes of History” Event Sale. The sale was held on March 27 and offered 175 pre-owned, late model Toyota and Lexus vehicles for sale.
Two hundred and fifteen total dealer buyers attended the sale in person and through Simulcast. Out of the 175 vehicles offered through the sale, 101 were sold online.
“We see Manheim as a valued strategic partner and we appreciate how it helps us provide excellent services to our dealers, especially as 2018 is a big year for lease returns,” said Mike Reid, national manager, Toyota Financial Services, remarketing department. “Our sales event on the aircraft carrier was exciting and drew praise from many dealers who enjoyed the experience and business opportunity.”
