“John has been in the co-chair seat for numerous years and his job now demands more time of his schedule, so he’s decided to step back and hand [the position] over to somebody else,” said Richard Pasta, national manager strategic accounts at CarProof.
Pasta also currently serves as a Canadian Committee co-chair, and will remain in the position for the foreseeable future.
In addition to the announcement of a new co-chair, the Canadian Committee is also announcing that it will be gaining a second seat on the IARA board of directors. The person that will be assuming the seat will be announced at a later time.
“There have been a lot of changes that have happened, not only with the Canadian Committee chairs, but with the committee leads. We’ve had a resurgence and a restructuring of the subcommittees with a lot of great talented people, and we’re expecting great things this year,” said Pasta.
The next Canadian Committee meeting will be held at the IARA Roundtable held concurrently with the Conference of Automotive Remarketing at Caesars Palace Las Vegas on March 5.
