Auto Auction Services Corp. (AutoIMS) has promoted Joe Miller to the newly created role of executive vice president of client success, the company announced April 13.

In his new position, Miller oversees solutions, marketing, product management, and client support related to AutoIMS. This promotion recognizes Miller’s ability to help shape win-win outcomes across the industry-facing functions of AutoIMS.

Miller previously served as a vice president for the company overseeing solutions, marketing, and client support. He is credited with designing and developing the newly created product management team which identifies and promotes high-value solutions to the remarketing industry. He also championed the use of the ValueSelling Framework which ensures the goals of topmost stakeholders at AutoIMS clients are identified and satisfied with their investments in the company’s solutions.

“Joe has a deep passion for helping our clients succeed," said AutoIMS CEO Venkat Krishnamoorthy in a news release. "He demonstrates it with active listening, uncovering the most important needs of the client while building their trust. Miller enjoys bringing together cross-functional AutoIMS teams, creating new internal collaboration in service to our clients."

In addition to leading creative marketing strategies, Miller often volunteers to speak at industry events, serving as a moderator for many events and hosting creative workshops for the industry.

Miller began his career at Gartner and worked in progressive sales and marketing roles in the professional services industry before joining AutoIMS in 2009. At AutoIMS, Miller initially joined to help redesign the RecoveryIMS product and was very quickly tapped to lead the client support team.

“AutoIMS continues an enviable 25 year run as a critical technology partner for the remarketing industry – a position we never take for granted," Miller said. "The shift to client success reflects us better understanding of what our clients are trying to achieve, the barriers in their way, and if possible, how we may be able to help. There is little more satisfying than seeing clients have ‘aha’ moments when finding new or better ways to move their businesses forward.”
