America’s Group acquired AuctionVcommerce (AVC), an innovative technology platform for auto auctions, in a deal announced Jan. 17.
With this strategic acquisition, America’s Auto Auction will integrate AVC’s platform to enhance operations and provide a streamlined auction experience for its dealer network. This integration will enable dealers to more efficiently access a myriad of auction tools and services.
AuctionVcommerce is an all-in-one platform created to transform how dealers interact with auctions. Designed as a centralized hub, it connects dealers to multiple auction platforms. It offers a suite of features that simplify the checkout process, relay payment options, track service status, and facilitate dealer requests for reports and gate passes.
Beyond simplifying processes, AVC elevates the consignment experience, delivers seamless access to key industry resources and tools, and provides dealers with the same service and support they would receive in person.
“AuctionVcommerce was established to empower independent auctions to compete effectively in the digital space,” said Kelly Bianchi, president of AuctionVcommerce, in a news release. “This acquisition strengthens our foundation, enabling us to enhance current initiatives and broaden our vision.”
Chuck Tapp, CEO of America’s Auto Auction, views this acquisition as a major move towards enhancing customer service. “With AVC’s platform, we’re equipping our customers with the tools they need to operate [with further success]. It’s now easier to meet the customer’s needs in today’s fast-paced auction industry.”
America’s Group consists of America’s Auto Auction and AXLE Funding, which includes nationwide vehicle auction, remarketing, and floorplan finance companies.
Based in Carmel, Indiana, America’s Auto Auction is a full-service used-vehicle auction services provider that enables the selling and buying of used vehicles at auction sites across 19 states and on digital platforms.
