America’s Auto Auction has named the new fleet and lease manager for its facility in Toledo, Ohio, according to the auction group.
Will Miller was promoted to the post of fleet/lease manager at its Toledo facility, where he had previously served as the auction’s online manager, working with both fleet/lease and dealer accounts.
“Will is a devoted and resourceful member of the team at America’s Auto Auction Toledo,” said Brian Thomas, senior VP at America’s Auto Auction. “Equally adept at managing relationships as well as our digital systems, Will has contributed to the growth and strength of our fleet/lease department during his tenure at the auction. America’s Auto Auction is pleased to recognize his contributions to our operations in Toledo in announcing his promotion to Fleet/Lease Manager.”
Miller joined the auction’s fleet/lease team in Toledo as a condition report writer in 2012, moving soon afterward to inside fleet/lease Coordinator. Since 2016, he has served as the online manager, where he played an instrumental role in piloting the auction’s online sale for commercial accounts, building it into a highly successful and award-winning aspect of the auction’s services.
With the increased emphasis on internet selling due to the current auction climate, Miller is ideally suited to his new role as head of the fleet/lease department, America’s Auto Auction said.
“Coming from an online world, I understand how important digital selling is to both our buyers and sellers,” said Miller. “When dealing with customers in remote locations, I know how crucial relationships are in building customer trust and loyalty. We also have an important segment of our customer base who prefer to come to the auction in person to view the inventory and bid and buy in the lane.”
Miller’s dedication to relationships and community extends beyond the auction arena, as he devotes considerable effort to a number of civic and veteran groups, the auction group said.
