McConkey Auction Group (MAG) has acquired ABS Auto Auctions, which remarkets over 40,000 vehicles annually, expanding the auction group’s U.S. footprint.

The addition of the Southern California-based auction increases MAG’s strategy of synthesizing digital and physical auctions, the company said. This also expands its established footprint in the Southwest with the recent acquisition of DAA Las Vegas.

“In getting to know ABS better, we found great synergy in both our family-run auto auction businesses,” said Bob McConkey, president and CEO of McConkey Auction Group.

MAG’s current locations in Spokane, Wash.; Seattle, and Las Vegas provide remarketing services to auto dealers and commercial accounts throughout the West.
