ATLANTA – Manheim announced the appointment of Louis “Lou” Verrengia to vice president of commercial accounts. In this position, he will take a leadership role within the commercial accounts team where he will be responsible for building and maintaining client relations on the west coast. Verrengia will also focus on developing business plans with Manheim’s customers to help meet their business needs and strategic goals. He will be based out of California and will report to Tom Nohstadt, vice president, commercial accounts, Manheim.

“Manheim has a substantial commercial account base in the west, and it has been a priority of ours to provide an equal level of account management to support such an important group of customers,” Nohstadt said. “I am pleased that Lou and his team will lead that effort for this critical set of customers.”

For the past 10 years Verrengia served as executive director of sales – national accounts with ADESA. During his career, he also served as dealer relations manager for Chrysler’s NuCar Prep division, and he worked in all capacities at domestic and import automotive dealerships for more than 26 years. Verrengia’s solid industry and sales experience along with his background in building strong customer relationships will be an asset to Manheim and the commercial accounts team.

Prior to his start in the automotive industry, Verrengia served in the U.S. Air Force for four years, during which he spent time in Southeast Asia and Italy. After completing his military service, Verrengia graduated from Rio Hondo College in Whittier, Calif.
