Mappes Named Director of IARA Board of Directors

MT. ARLINGTON, NJ - The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) announced that Joe Mappes, Auction Broadcasting Co. (ABC), has been selected as a new Director to the IARA Board of Directors. Joe Mappes serves as vice president of sales for Auction Broadcasting Company (ABC).

Before joining ABC, Mappes was vice president of sales at PAR North America and executive director of sales, national accounts at ADESA, both are now units of KAR Auction Services. His experience also includes other leadership roles within ADESA. This includes his tenure in several management capacities at ADESA Cincinnati-Dayton.

Prior to joining ADESA, Mappes owned Pronto Dent Removal which provided paint-free dent removal services and training to Ford Motor Co., financial institutions, and franchised dealers.

Mappes holds a bachelors degree from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio.
