CENTREVILLE, VA – Carfax has been named one of the ‘Great Places to Work’ for 2007-2008. For the third time in a row, The Washingtonian has recognized Carfax in its biennial list of top employers.

“There’s an old saying that if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life,” said Dick Raines, president of Carfax. “We’ve been fortunate to provide ample employment opportunities for more than 20 years and have created strong ties with the communities surrounding our offices in the Washington area, Missouri, and across the country. We are truly honored to be selected again as one of the great places to work and are proud to do our part in making positive contributions to the local economies.”

Carfax is headquartered in Northern Virginia, maintains its massive data center in Columbia, Mo., where the company was founded in 1986, and has field offices in most major cities. Carfax Vehicle History Reports help millions of people nationwide make better decisions about the used cars they buy and sell. More than 29,000 dealers and 26 manufacturer Certified Pre-Owned programs also rely on Carfax to help evaluate vehicles and build consumer confidence.
