SPOKANE, WA- At its annual owners’ meeting, held this year in conjunction with a client activity, ServNet elected new officers for a two-year term.

Taking the helm as ServNet’s President is Dave Zabel (Tri-State Auto Auction-Fargo). He will be assisted by Keith Lelux (Charleston Auto Auction) who will serve as vice president, and Dale Flora (Indiana Auto Auction), who continues in his capacity as secretary/treasurer.

Elected to serve on the Board of Directors was John Rea, managing partner of ServNet’s newest member auction, Rea Brothers’ Mid-South Auction, who joins Jeff Brasher of Brasher’s Reno Auction, a continuing member of the Board.

Zabel follows Bob McConkey (DAA Northwest) as the group’s president. McConkey remains active on the Board of Directors, following Bob Sullivan (Chattanooga Auto Auction) as Chairman of the Board. McConkey served an abbreviated term as ServNet’s president, shortening his tenure with the approval of the ServNet membership so that he could assume responsibilities as president-elect of the National Auto Auction Association.

This year’s ServNet owner’s meeting was held in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho in early July, in conjunction with a client activity and advisory meeting that provided a forum for discussion between members and customers, industry assessment and forecasting, and an overview of ServNet’s plans for the future. A major focus of the meeting was Auction Pipeline, ServNet’s Web initiative that provides auction customers with sales and market information as well as live, online bidding.
