Swanson Named General Manager at ADESA Austin

CARMEL, IN – Steve Swanson has been named General Manager of ADESA Austin, effective March 31, 2007. He currently serves as president of AutoVIN, the company’s professional information services subsidiary, and has agreed to serve in a dual role during the transition period until a replacement is hired at AutoVIN.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, Swanson has more than 15 years of remarketing experience, including five years with Manheim Auctions in Texas and eight years with DaimlerChrysler Services in their Remarketing Service Center in the Roanoke, Texas area. At DaimlerChrysler Services, Steve was the national auction manager for both Mercedes-Benz Financial and Chrysler Financial.
