ALPHARETTA, GA – DataScan Field Services (DFS), which is comprised of Vehicle Inspection Services (VIS) and Nationwide Audit Services (NAS) divisions of DataScan Technologies, has expanded its existing vehicle inspection and floorplan audit services into the Canadian market. Current client demand and increased business opportunities prompted the expansion.

"By expanding DFS into Canada, we are able to better meet our existing clients' needs while positioning ourselves strategically for future growth opportunities," said Frank Armstrong, president and CEO of DataScan Technologies. "The Canadian marketplace is a natural expansion of our field services business and will allow us to be a single source of inspections and audits for our U.S. and Canadian clients," added Brent Sergot, vice president and general manager of DFS.

DFS's technologies allow for accurate and consistent data collection with seamless integration into its proprietary Internet-based systems. In accordance with the direction of the expansion plans, DFS is looking to establish a long-term presence in the Canadian market. The DFS expansion is expected to be fully operational by the second quarter of 2006.
