ADESA Appoints Swanson as President of AutoVIN

INDIANAPOLIS — ADESA has hired Steve Swanson as president of AutoVIN, a subsidiary that provides professional information services to the automotive industry.

Steve was formerly Auction Group Leader for DaimlerChrysler Services in Roanoke, Texas. He and his wife, Holly, will relocate to AutoVIN´s office in Atlanta. Swanson´s first day will be Dec. 6.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, Swanson has more than 13 years of experience in the auto remarketing industry. His experience includes marketing and fleet/lease management at the auction level, as well as holding multiple remarketing management positions with Mercedes-Benz Credit and Chrysler Financial.

AutoVIN´s varied services include vehicle condition reporting, inventory verification auditing, program compliance auditing, and facilities inspections.
