While Quincy Auto Auction is physically located in an ideal spot for growth, General Manager Mike Cooley reports that the efficiency of the AutoIMS system is helping attract additional national accounts. “We’ve been using the system with several clients for the past six months, and they’re pleased with the results,” Cooley says.
He adds that Quincy’s AutoIMS clients credit the process with decreasing days to sell. Not only that, he says his staff saves time and has fewer errors when using the system. Clients respond more quickly to repair authorizations and floor-pricing requests sent via AutoIMS, Cooley says. “One vehicle can generate 20 to 30 pieces of paper,” he commented, “everyone looses time chasing that much paper.” He says he puts the time saved to better use servicing existing customers and attracting new ones.
