An ADESA-donated vehicle brought in $26,500 for charity at an auction held at the 2018 NIADA Convention and Expo, according to a company announcement.

Chris Haus, the owner of Haus Auto Group in Canfield, Ohio placed the winning bid on a 2018 Honda Accord with 1,188 miles on the odometer during an auction held on the last day of the NIADA Convention.

All of the proceeds of the sale are going to the NIADA Foundation, and the vehicle will be delivered to Haus for free by ADESA. The NIADA Foundation awards scholarships to deserving college-bound students across the U.S.

In the past six years, KAR-business-unit-sponsored auctions at the NIADA Convention and Expo have raised a total of $151,700 for the NIADA Foundation. Last year’s convention brought in $28,000 for a 2016 Nissan Frontier SV pickup.
