Automobile Technologies (AMT) launched ReconMonitor to add to its suite of mobile automotive software products - ReconPRO and InspectionNotes.

ReconMonitor was developed with the input of vehicle reconditioning experts to manage the increasingly complex reconditioning process and lower cycle time to frontline vehicles. Dealerships, auctions, fleets, and auto remarketers can now manage their entire vehicle reconditioning operation from one centralized management system, eliminating paperwork and increasing efficiency, according to the company.

ReconMonitor gives management the ability to dispatch, track, and monitor services performed by employees and vendors. Employees can create inspections, workorders, and update repair statuses from their mobile devices and vendors receive email and text based assignments, improving communication and controls. ReconMonitor's cloud based management dashboard gives managers real-time access and control with detailed tracking for each vehicle service being performed, showing bottleneck areas, and when each repair was started and finished.

"Our goal is to offer a user-friendly, mobile app combined with the most advanced cloud software technology, to meet the demands of the reconditioning industry," said Mike Fischer, EVP. "A huge goal for auto remarketers is lowering costs and reduced cycle time, launching ReconMonitor is a solution for both areas."
