Jumpstart: Mustang Most-Viewed Vehicle of 2017

Media, insights and marketing solutions provider Jumpstart Automotive Media named the Ford Mustang the most-viewed vehicle of 2017. The Mustang has held the top spot since 2014, but as an outlier: Jumpstart’s analysts found Americans’ love for trucks, SUVs and crossovers remained on full display during 2017.

Jumpstart Automotive Media today released its monthly share of shopper interest data. The report reveals that subcompact SUVs and CUVs saw a 37% increase in interest across Jumpstart’s portfolio of sites in the first half of 2017 (H1 2017) when compared to the first half of 2016 (H2 2016).

Weekly Depreciation Rates Lowest Since Summer

Cars and truck segments both had the smallest weekly rate of depreciation since summer, with truck values decreasing by 0.3% and cars depreciating by 0.42%, which was consistents with the prior week’s depreciation rate.
