In his new role, Gupta will lead the company’s information technology strategy, development, and operations, as well as coordinate TFS’ technology efforts with Toyota Motor North America and other Toyota affiliates, the company added.
He will report to Mike Groff, the president and CEO of Toyota Financial Services USA.
Gupta has over 27 years of experience in the financial services technology field. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and CIO for the key community bank business unit of KeyCorp. Before that he launched multiple digital businesses and consulted for Capgemini and Ernst & Young.
