Mercedes-Benz has provided pricing for its three-tier subscription service, while Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will offer Jeep Wave that will also allow drivers to use a vehicle for a monthly fee across three levels similar to a short-term rental.

Mercedes-Benz will begin testing its Mercedes-Benz Collection service in Philadelphia and Nashville, Tenn. as a collaboration between the company, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA, and dealers.

Three tiers will include Signature, Reserve, and Premier that will be offered for between $1,095 and $2,995 per month depending on the city and level. Subscribers pay a one-time activation fee of $495. Each tier includes all body styles and an AMG option.

The fee also includes insurance, around-the-clock roadside assistance, and vehicle maintenance. Users will set up and use the service via their smartphone app, and a concierge service will deliver the vehicle washed with a full tank of gas and take away the previous vehicles.

Jeep's program will offer vehicles in Good, Better, and Best tiers, including different choices for insurance coverage and concierge services. Jeep hasn't released details about the cost or vehicles included, reports Consumer Reports.

It's unclear who would finance the FCA program, calculate risk, and determine residual values, because FCA is negotiating with Santander Consumer USA to possible purchase Chrysler Capital or set up its own captive finance company, reports Auto Finance News.

Fleet vehicles would not likely be included in either program.
