After completing a $1 million facility expansion in late 2012, Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auction continues its momentum with yet another construction phase.

Operations Manager, Matt Alombro, confirmed that an additional 4.5 acres are being cleared to keep up with the higher volume of consignment. He said, “I am eagerly awaiting the completion of the additional parking to enhance operations, especially for our big event sales like our John Dough Christmas Sale December 17 and our Second Annual Rockin’ Mardi Gras Event Feb. 24-25, 2014.  We typically see 1,000-plus vehicles for these events so the added space will ease maneuvering on the lot.”

General Manager, Don Sistrunk, stated that “this new expansion phase will accommodate 800-1,200 additional vehicles positioning us for continued growth of our dealer and fleet business.  It will also increase the size of our transportation lot making it easier to load and unload vehicles and is slated for completion by early Spring, assuming weather and permitting cooperates.”

Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction, located in Hammond, La., has served the dealers of the Gulf Coast and surrounding states for more than 11 years. Visit www.lafcaa.com  for more information.
