Management Changes Announced at Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction
FRANKLIN, TN - John Poteet, managing partner at Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction, has announced the promotions of three key members of the auction’s management team.

FRANKLIN, TN - John Poteet, managing partner at Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction, has announced the promotions of three key members of the auction’s management team. Don Sistrunk has been promoted from Auction Manager to General Manager. Bridget Higginbotham, who had been serving as General Sales Manager, has been named Assistant General Manager. Matt Alombro, previously Management Development Trainee, has been promoted to Operations Manager.
“Don, Bridget and Matt have proved themselves to be vital members of the auction team here at Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction,” said Poteet. “They show pride in their work, innovation and creativity in their jobs, and a willingness to do what it takes to make our customers happy. In short, they are successful, loyal employees and are representative of the type of people that work here. I am proud of them and their achievements and feel very good about entrusting them with the management of our auction.”

Poteet made the announcement as the auction prepares to celebrate its 10-year anniversary on May 22.
“Our success is dependent on good employees like Don, Bridget, and Matt. I couldn’t do it without them and all of the other great people working here, and I am grateful for their contributions.”
Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction opened in May of 2002. In August of that year, the auction began a business relationship with Capital One Auto Finance and Consumer Portfolio Services that has grown steadily over the past decade, as the auction has continued to add other remarketers and dealer consignors to its growing family of customers. The auction was recently named the top provider in its region for ARI, as part of ARI’s Partner’s in Excellence Awards for 2011.
Selling on five auction lanes every Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction uses several state-of-the-art industry solutions to serve its customers, including Auto IMS inventory management system, Auction Access dealer database program, and Auction Pipeline.
