World Automobile Auctioneers Championship To Be Held At Sanford Auto Dealers Exchange
SANFORD, FL - Sanford Auto Dealers Exchange has been contracted to host The 24th Annual World Automobile Auctioneers Championship.
SANFORD, FL - Sanford Auto Dealers Exchange has been contracted to host The 24th Annual World Automobile Auctioneers Championship on March 30, an event where the world's best automobile auctioneers, ring-people and teams compete to win the coveted title of "World Champion".
"It is a great pleasure to see the way the best in the business come together each year in competition and fellowship to determine The World Champions," said Col. Paul C. Behr, president of the World Wide College of Auctioneering. The competition is open to all auto auctioneers and ring-people worldwide who are sponsored or employed with an auto auction.
The 2012 World Automobile Auctioneers Championship will be webcast live for the first time, courtesy of the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association. Live online coverage begins at 11am EST at www.niada.tv, www.niada.com, and www.waacnet.net. Twelve Judges have been selected from the auto and auctioneering industry.
The Panel of Judges is as follows: Charlotte Pyle, President of the National Auto Auction Association; Christie King, President of the National Auctioneers Association; Tom Caruso, CEO and President of ADSA; Sandy Schwartz, President of Manheim, a subsidiary of Cox Enterprises; Tim Riley, President of Midway Auto Auction; Neal Davis, The 1996 World Champion Auto Auctioneer; Greg Duff, National Remarketing Manager for Automotive Credit Corporation; Robert Wagner, Asset Remarketing National Manager for Hyundai Motor Finance Company; Scott Eyster, Assistant Vice President of Asset Remarketing for US Bank; Brian Garner, Remarketing Manager for Automotive Resources International; Jack Rennels, Vice President of Remarketing for Emkay Incorporated; Thomas Grady, Southeast Wholesale Manager for Avis Budget Group.
The opening ceremony will begin at 11:30 am EST. The top 15 auctioneer scores, top 5 ring-people and top 5 team selling scores from the preliminary round will compete in the final championship round. Dinner reception and awards banquet will be held at Sanford Auto Dealers Exchange at 5pm EST.
