Jeep's four-door Wrangler has placed at the top of a list of 10 vehicles that retain the highest percentage of their value over a five-year period, according to the latest report from iSeeCars.
The trucks and vans that topped J.D. Power's lists for 2019 Resale Value awards include the GMC Sierra 3500, Toyota Tundra, Toyota Tacoma, and Honda Odyssey minivan, the firm announced.
The average price of a used vehicle for model years 2012 to 2016 decreased in value 1.3%, slightly more than the 1.2% decrease in May, according to Black Book. The price of cars overall dropped 1.8%, while trucks decreased 0.8% in value in June. All vehicles are averaging a 12-month depreciation of 16.7%.
The third-generation 2016 Toyota Tacoma base model SR will carry a retail price of $24,200 when it arrives at dealer lots in the middle of September for about a $3,000 increase over the outgoing model.
