LOS ANGELES - Auctions In Motion has announced a series of senior management appointments throughout the auto auction company’s four Southern California locations. In an effort to match the increasing demand from their customers, AIM sought for advancements to their team who would fit in with the company’s new innovations and expanding business priorities.

Shannon Volkov has joined AIM Pasadena as its new General Manager to continue this locations success and manage its recent growth. His decade of industry experience includes key positions at American Suzuki Motor Corporation and most recently at ADESA Los Angeles, where he was responsible for managing major group accounts. As AIM Pasadena’s GM, he will work with his staff to drive quality and efficiency throughout the auctions processes. Shannon comments “I am excited to start a new challenge with Auctions In Motion. The company named its own Jon Karasek as Director of Operations. Karasek will be responsible for overseeing all auction operations including offices of personnel, transportation and consignment. “The office of Director of Operations is critical to the smooth, efficient operation of our auctions,” AIM President and CEO George Pero explained, “In addition to the 5 years and notable success as Assistant General Manager at AIM, Jon has an excellent rapport with the many constitutes of our business including clients, employees and industry professionals. Jon was the obvious standout choice for the position.”

Angela Sper, AIM’s former Dealer Account Manager has been promoted as General Sales Manager to its Thousand Oaks and Ventura locations. “The expansion of AIM’s Sales and Management team further strengthens AIM’s ability to meet the growing needs of its customers,” declares AIM Chief Operating Officer, Bill Johnson, “We are a company committed to doing the right thing for our clients and building long-term relationships, and Angela plays a key role in the continued implementation of this vision.” In her new role, Angela will manage existing customer accounts directly as well as support the training and strategic direction for new accounts in her region.

AIM veteran Steve Rice has been promoted to General Manager of AIM Santa Ana. In his recent role as Assistant GM, Steve trained a cohesive team of Dealer Account Reps and Managers serving all of AIM’s locations. Steve’s new assignment is an integral component of AIM’s focus to continually provide functional excellence at its auctions by maximizing each facility’s unique capabilities and overall potential. “Along with attracting top-industry talent outside of our company, one of our top priorities is growing AIM’s existing leadership team, President and CEO George Pero said, adding “Steve is already on the scene in Santa Ana and has built the depth of rapport and trust with our working relationships that is the model to our company’s core values.”
