CARMEL, IN - KAR Auction Services, Inc. was recently recognized for its participation in the United Way of Central Indiana’s (UWCI) annual LIVE UNITED campaign. This campaign encourages companies to GIVE, ADVOCATE and VOLUNTEER to improve their local community.

KAR was named as an honoree for the “Largest First-Time Workplace Campaign" award at UWCI’s annual meeting, Tuesday, March 27, at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in Indianapolis. During KAR’s first-time workplace LIVE UNITED campaign, the company recruited a total of 117 new contributors for the UWCI’s annual fundraising effort.

“It is an honor to be recognized by such an amazing organization like the United Way,” said KAR Auction Services CEO Jim Hallett. “Community involvement is one of our core values, and I want to thank everyone for their contributions to this campaign.”
