LAS VEGAS - Dan Kennedy, manager of remarketing for General Motors, was named "Consignor of the Year" by Bobit Business Media and Vehicle Remareketing magazine. The award was presented during the 2012 Conference of Automotive Remarketing, held March 14-15 in Las Vegas.

The winner of the award was voted for in an online ballot by remarketing industry professionals. Qualification requirements include:

2.Created, embraced, and implemented industry innovations.

3.Moved the industry forward with professionalism and the highest standards.

4.Willingly shared expertise and skills to advance the industry.

5.Participated in industry associations and groups.

6.Served as mentors and/or role models in developing the next generation of remarketing professionals.

Kennedy has spent 32 years in the automotive industry, with the last 25 years spent in the remarketing function.
