FLINT, MI - Flint Auto Auction will host the annual Corvettes and Classics Sale Wednesday, April 13. In conjunction with its regular weekly consignment sale, Flint Auto Auction will run more than 200 Corvettes starting at 9 a.m., followed by 200 classic cars and specialty units.

"The Corvettes and Classics Sale has become a grand tradition at Flint Auto Auction and certainly one of the highlights of the Spring Season," said auction owner John Luce. "Our dealers talk about it all year, and we have a great time getting ready for the sale. It's a sure sign that Spring is in the air, and it always adds a boost to the market."

The event will begin with a gourmet breakfast served in lanes 1 and 2, beginning at 7:30 am.. To launch the sale, the auction will hold a drawing for leather Corvette jacket. In addition, attending dealers will receive a commemorative Corvettes and Classics T-Shirt. At the conclusion of the sale, dealers will gather in the auction arena for the grand prize drawing of a Corvette convertible. All dealers buying and selling at the auction between March 16th and April 13th qualify for the drawing.

In addition to the Corvettes and Classics, the auction will run more than 1,000 vehicles from such consignors as GMAC and Chrysler Financial, in addition to fleet/lease, repo and rental accounts and area new and used car dealers.

"We recorded more than 1,191 dealerships in attendance at last year's Corvettes and Classics sale, and we expect an equally enthusiastic crowd at this year's event," said Luce.
