SALT LAKE CITY - Rob Brasher, auction owner and general manager, announced that Subaru of America, Inc. selected Brasher's Salt Lake Auto Auction as its remarketing partner for factory vehicles in the Intermountain West. The auction will host its first Subaru closed factory sale on Tuesday, March 1 and has scheduled subsequent factory sales every four weeks thereafter.

"We are very pleased to welcome Subaru to Brasher's Salt Lake Auction," said Brasher. "This is an outstanding opportunity for Subaru dealers in this region, many of whom are already attending our auction to purchase from Chase Auto Finance, which handles Subaru off-lease and repo units in our regular consignment sale. Now those dealers can choose from expanded inventory in both open and closed sales, all in one location."

Brasher explained that the Subaru Factory Sale will run in the "I" lane, following the Subaru product offered by Chase Bank in the open sale. He anticipates that 75 vehicles, including company and program units, will run in the inaugural factory sale on March 1.

"It is important to provide the very best buying opportunities for our customers, and we have worked hard to expand our consignment base," said Brasher. "Our commitment to our auto dealers, fleet and institutional accounts and manufacturers is unwavering, and we are dedicated to maintaining the level of service that has characterized our auction since it opened its doors more than 60 years ago. We are thrilled to include Subaru in our factory sale line-up."

Brasher's Salt Lake Auto Auction holds a consignment sale every Tuesday at 9 am. In addition to Subaru, the auction hosts factory sales for both Ford and General Motors. The auction is a member of ServNet and played a central role in founding the Auction Pipeline, the nation's largest onramp to simulcast sales and consolidated vehicle listings available for sale at independently owned wholesale auctions.
