WESTCHESTER, IL - Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc., a hybrid model salvage auto auction company and a wholly owned subsidiary of KAR Auction Services, Inc., announced it relocated to a 20-acre facility in Simpsonville, S.C., located near Greenville.

This new location offers convenient access to several major interstates and highways. Now with 43 branch locations in IAA's southeast region, this facility adds to the more than 150 corporate-owned facilities throughout North America.

"IAA continues to provide branch locations that have the capacity to hold a large variety of salvage vehicles for buyers to choose from, and convenient locations that decrease towing costs for sellers," said Tom O'Brien, CEO. "We pride ourselves as a 'one-stop shop' for insurers by providing the largest facility footprint and a comprehensive suite of auction, logistics, and claims services. We help maximize salvage returns by offering a hybrid auction model where our buyers choose how to participate by either placing bids in-person at a branch location, or on-line over the Internet. Simply put, by offering more branch locations, IAA helps to lower administrative costs, and ultimately shorten the claims process," O'Brien stated.

IAA's mature global buyer base, which consists of automotive body shops, rebuilders, used car dealers, automotive wholesalers, exporters, dismantlers, recyclers, brokers, and where allowed, non-licensed (public) buyers, now have even more choices when it comes to the number of salvage vehicles to bid on and buy.

IAA's Greenville branch location is located at 422 Scuffletown Road in Simpsonville, S.C. IAA auction preview dates and times vary from facility to facility.
