MONCKS CORNER, SC - Charleston Auto Auction continues to provide award winning service to its valued institutional accounts. Friday, Feb. 19, in a pre-sale presentation, Charleston Auto Auction received the 2009 National Auction of the Year Award from MarkOne Financial. Jason Ghioto, Collection/Remarketing Manager for MarkOne Financial was on hand to present the award.

“Overall service, and, of course, retention are the two top categories we base auction performance. Charleston Auto Auction and its staff consistently out-perform the competition. When it comes down to it, our cars just bring more money at Charleston Auto Auction,” states Mr. Ghioto.

When asked about receiving this prestigious award, Chris Wise, National Remarketing Manager for Charleston Auto Auction remarked, “This is a great day for Charleston Auto Auction. We are very pleased that we have been able to build brand awareness with MarkOne’s portfolio. Whenever a MarkOne unit runs through our arena, you are sure to find a group of dealers bidding on it”. Wise also added “Jason and his staff are a pleasure to work with and I am looking forward to both of us having another successful year”.

Why does MarkOne Financial have such a large and loyal following? “When Charleston Auto Auction told us about their 95 percent Buy Back Program, I thought this would be a great way to stand behind our vehicles and to also give a little back to our dealers,” stated Ghioto. “For a dealer to be able to offer a vehicle for sale over a two month period, and then have the option of returning it for at least 95% of their original purchase price is astonishing. This is something every dealer can appreciate, especially with the drastic ups and downs of the economy.”

The award presentation was followed by a large run of vehicles from both institutional and dealer consignors. Included in this run were 52 units from MarkOne, all of which sold.

Charleston Auto Auction is a member of the American Auto Auction Group. It holds a sale every Friday at 10am, with a damaged and disabled sale on the 2nd and last Friday of every month at 9:00 am. For more information about Charleston Auction, go to www.charlestonautoauction.com.
