FREDERICK, MD - ServNet was recently recognized by the National Auto Auction Association as a Warren Young Fellow, for the group's support of the Warren Young, Sr. Scholastic Foundation.

The Warren Young Fellowship was created in honor of Warren Young, Sr., a pioneer of the auto auction industry. The award recognizes major contributions to the National Auto Auction Association and acknowledges sustaining support for the NAAA Warren Young, Sr. Scholastic Foundation, Inc. goal of improving access to post secondary education through scholarships and educational assistance.

The NAAA Warren Young Scholastic Foundation program assists all full-time NAAA auction member employees, their children and grandchildren who plan to continue education in college or vocational school programs. Twelve Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student's choice. In the past four years, $160,000 in scholarships has been awarded to 48 students so they could pursue their dreams of higher education.

"The Foundation's success lies in the commitment of the NAAA members to the industry and each other," says Carolina Auto Auction's Patty Stanley who, with her husband Henry Stanley, is a staunch supporter of the Foundation. "One of the reasons I think we have been such a successful industry is that there is a lot of networking and a true feeling of family. Supporting the Scholarship Foundation is a way to give back to the industry."
