CENTREVILLE, VA – Carfax announced the company added Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) to the Carfax Service Link program. Vehicles serviced and maintained by participating Mercedes-Benz will be reported to Carfax and will appear on Carfax Vehicle History Reports.
"We encourage dealers to participate in the Carfax Service Link program as it helps them to retain more cars in their service cycle," stated Mark Webster, national pre-owned manager, Mercedes-Benz USA. "Participants have more repeat customers because their name is on the Carfax Report, which serves as a powerful tool in building customer confidence."
Carfax Service Link is a free, value-added feature that puts a dealership's name on the Carfax Report of each vehicle they service. Dealership contact information and a Web site link appears alongside each service record. Nearly 7500 dealerships nationwide participate in Carfax Service Link.
"Carfax Service Link connects participating dealers with millions of in-market shoppers that use Carfax," said Larry Gamache, communications director at Carfax. "We're proud to add Mercedes-Benz USA to our distinguished lineup of participating automakers."
Any dealership can join the Carfax Service Link program at no cost. Mercedes-Benz and other dealers interested in participating can call (800) 561-5496. For more information about Carfax Service Link, visit www.carfaxonline.com.
