LINDEN, NJ – Autolog Auto Transport (Autolog), a Linden, N.J.-based vehicle logistics provider and business unit of United Road, is expanding its services to offer enclosed carrier vehicle transportation capabilities and increased transportation network routes Larry Tolstyka, vice president of Autolog, recently made the announcement.

Autolog’s collaboration with Pilot Transport, the nation’s premier enclosed carrier and also a United Road business unit, allows Autolog to utilize Pilot’s fleet of enclosed carriers to provide customers with new transport options. Enclosed carriers ensure that the vehicle being transported is allotted the optimal level of security and protection from the elements and road debris. The service is especially beneficial when utilized traveling through regions experiencing adverse weather conditions, such as snow or heavy rain, when vehicles can be completely exposed. Enclosed carrier service is also the preferred method of transport for high-value, exotic, custom and classic automobiles, to ensure they remain in pristine condition.

In response to client demand, Autolog is also expanding its services throughout the United States with additional routes to and from Florida and points in the Midwest, as well as new enclosed routes from the New York City area to Western coast cities such as San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle.

“Autolog’s new enclosed carrier transport adds an extra level of assurance and protection for our customers,” said Tolstyka. “Expanding our traffic lanes allows us to better serve the needs of our loyal and growing client base throughout the United States.”

Autolog’s new initiatives are a direct result of the company’s recent acquisition by United Road, the largest shipper of privately owned and single-unit vehicles for eBay, Openlane and other internet-based vehicle auctions. The addition of Autolog to United Road’s national logistic network increases both companies’ capabilities and is a result of United Road’s ongoing expansion efforts and commitment to customer service.
