KANSAS CITY, MO – After years of planning, Kansas City Independent Auto Auction (KCI) unveiled its all-new facility, welcoming more than 500 dealers to its inaugural sale.

The auction, which has been doing business as the Kansas Auto Auction in Elwood, Ks., opened 40 miles from the site where it had been operating since 1978.

The new facility includes a 20,000-square-foot building housing business offices and six auction lanes in the selling arena, a full service restaurant, on-site PDR, and dealer lockers. The new facility accommodates parking for more than 1,500 vehicles.
