CARMEL, IN — ADESA recently announced that Jane Morgan has been named president of the company’s specialty sales division.

Morgan, who brings nearly two decades of experience in the auto auction industry to her new role, will report directly to ADESA Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Bob Rauschenberg.

“ADESA has made the decision to be furiously involved in specialty auctions,” explains Rauschenberg. “To do this, and do it well, we knew we had to comprise the best team in the industry. With Jane’s history, track record with ADESA and her level of expertise with the power sports industry, she is the perfect candidate for this role. I am extremely pleased to have her head this new division for the company.”

Morgan has served in roles of increased responsibility with ADESA, including general manager of ADESA Charlotte for nearly 10 years and then as a regional manager for the company. In 2007, she was promoted to regional vice president of ADESA’s eastern region. Morgan is also very active in the industry. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA). She is also a co-chair of the National Dealer Affairs/Institutional Sellers Committee, as well as a member of the group’s Legislative Committee.

“I am thrilled to apply all of my industry experience to this new division and look forward to growing this area of specialty sales to provide our customers with an even wider array of offerings in this area,” said Morgan.
