BROOMFIELD, CO – Dealerslink is now partnering with Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc (DTAG). This partnership will offer Dealerslink members the ability to purchase DTAG units directly, without transaction fees, through their online vehicle trading portal.
Dollar Thrifty will be the first national consigner to market their vehicles in the predominantly dealer-to-dealer wholesale marketplace. This partnership marks a paradigm shift in vehicle remarketing, as it enables DTAG to effectively bypass the industry’s dependence on auto auctions for fleet liquidation, selling directly to auto dealers through the Dealerslink marketplace. The relationship will improve the speed and cost-structure in marketing their wholesale inventory.
Inventory will include models from Subaru, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ford, Hyundai, and Toyota. Inventory will appear on Dealerslink in almost real time, with data refreshed every 15 minutes throughout the day, and units will include stock photos, full option lists, and competitive asking prices.
Vehicle purchase requests will be channeled through John Marion, Dollar Thrifty’s national sales manager.
