ATLANTA – Manheim Financial Services (MAFS) achieved a significant milestone on Dec. 31, securing one million new vehicle floor plan originations in 2007, a first for Manheim’s financial services arm.

To celebrate, MAFS leaders traveled to Manheim Nevada to personally reward the buyer of the one millionth unit with the vehicle he was purchasing.

“If I could sum up my experience with MAFS in one phrase, it would be ‘tremendously easy’,” said Rabbit Downward, inventory control manager for Executive Car Sales, Inc., in St. George Utah. “I travel across the western part of the country to purchase vehicles and deal with a variety of companies. When I shared this with the MAFS team, they immediately sold me on MAFS as a one-stop solution. I can call Katie Louk and the MAFS team at Manheim Nevada with any questions and they respond immediately. My business has grown as a result of our partnership.”

Executive Car Sales was awarded the car, a 2002 Honda Accord. Executive Car Sales has been a longtime user of MAFS.

I am grateful for everyone’s dedication to this goal and the energy that was put into making it a success,” said Kathy Decker, vice president and general manager of MAFS. “MAFS reached several milestones in 2007, but having our customers’ select us in such a big way for their financing needs is one we are most proud of.”

MAFS is also celebrating 15 years of operation this year, and a variety of activities are in place to support this milestone.

MAFS offers a range of financial services, such as inventory financing for independent car dealers, wholesalers and rental dealers, as well as insurance services and a receivables funding program to more than 19,000 franchise and independent car dealers onsite and at 120 NAAA independent locations throughout North America.
