INDIANAPOLIS – Auction Broadcasting Company (ABC) has sold ABC West Michigan to a new partnership that includes two of the original owners of West Michigan Auto Auction (WMAA), Carl Miskotten and Dr. Mark Campbell, and local businessman Dan DeVos of D.P. Fox enterprises.

ABC’s West Michigan auction originally opened in August 1996 as a 77-acre green-field site. In January 1997, Carl Miskotten purchased a major percentage of the auction, and with the help of Trent Knox, took over management of West Michigan Auto Auction. With a strategy to expand in many Midwest larger markets, Miskotten partnered with Mike Hockett and Auction Broadcasting Company in January 2000.

According to the new group, its 100-plus years experience will enable them to better service the fleet lease industry.
