CARMEL, IN – ADESA Canada has acquired Enchère d’Auto Transit Inc. (Transit). Transit will join the ADESA family of companies as ADESA Quebec City.

ADESA Quebec City is a three-lane auction located on the south shore of Quebec City. It services the Quebec City region, Eastern Quebec, and Northern New Brunswick. The total property is approximately 30 acres in size of which about 10 acres are currently being used and employs approximately 30 full-time people.

“By acquiring a significant presence in Quebec, we will be able to provide our customers with better access to one of Canada’s most important markets,” said Benjamin Skuy, managing director and COO of ADESA Canada. “We see excellent opportunities for growth through an expanded dealer base and the introduction of our DealerBlock and LiveBlock applications. ADESA Canada believes that this acquisition allows it to contemplate other strategic acquisitions in Canada which focus on better meeting the needs of our customers.”
