SCHAUMBURG, IL – Paul Seger, vice president of asset remarketing for GE Fleet Services accepted a check for United Way, from ABC’s Mike Hockett on Oct. 15 in Schaumburg, Ill.

The auctions sponsored various items such as appliances, iPODS, computers and sporting goods, which were auctioned off and purchased by dealers. United Way proceeds were raised during sales in the third quarter of 2007, by ABC Minneapolis, ABC Nashville and ABC West Michigan, and then matched by ABC Corporate. The United Way campaign was a chance to build teamwork for partners to be involved and participate in helping the less fortunate. The total funds given to Seger for the United Way from ABC’s “Race to Give,” totaled at $12, 530. “I was overwhelmed by the support and outreach from auction partners, dealers and everyone who were involved, it was a success,” says Seger.
