WEST FARGO, ND – ServNet will expand its administrative and account management staff. ServNet’s president, Dave Zabel, reported that the group’s Board of Directors has engaged Pierre Pons of TPC Management Company to recruit candidates for full-time staff positions.

“In direct response to recent discussions we’ve had with a number of our customers, we have set an immediate goal to establish a national headquarters for the ServNet auction group, with a full-time staff that will include both an administrative executive and an account management team,” Zabel said.

Zabel explained that industry veteran Larry Brasher has been handling administrative responsibilities for ServNet on an interim basis, working with the Board of Directors in evaluating the group’s current operation as well as formulating a long-term growth and development plan.

“A full-time staff will ensure that we provide optimal service to our members, maintain better and more frequent contact with our key customers and member auctions, and meet the growing demands of our evolving relationship with Auction Pipeline,” Brasher said.

Zabel added that the contract with TPC Management also includes seeking an administrative executive for Auction Pipeline. Up to this point, ServNet and Auction Pipeline have had an exclusive relationship but are in the process of developing a program that will make Pipeline available to independent auctions outside of the ServNet group.

Paul Rettenmaier will continue to handle responsibilities as ServNet’s national sales representative until the new account management team is in place. Once the new positions are filled, he will assume duties as the national account representative for Kansas Auto Auction and DAA Northwest, both members of ServNet.
