CARMEL, IN—ADESA announced it has filled two key technology positions. Effective immediately, Dennis Jones has assumed the role of president of AutoVIN, the company’s professional information services subsidiary, while Jason Ferreri will become vice president of e-Business, Sales and Operations in the U.S. for ADESA on May 14, 2007.

FERRERI

Jones made a career change when he came onboard at ADESA Indianapolis in 1997 as Fleet/Lease Manager. Prior to joining ADESA, he was the owner and pharmacist at Westland Drugs, Inc. in Bowling Green, Ky. He took on the General Manager role of ADESA Indianapolis in 1998, turning it into one of the industry’s largest award-winning commercial account auctions, and eventually was promoted to regional vice president of ADESA’s Midwest Region in 2004. A 1976 graduate of the University of Kentucky-Lexington with a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Jones also served in the United States Marine Corps as a sergeant E5 in Vietnam from 1966 to 1970.

Ferreri joined ADESA in 2004 as an Executive Director of Sales. In 2005, he was promoted to vice president of sales, where he was responsible for ADESA’s commercial account sales. Prior to joining ADESA, Ferreri obtained extensive experience in the vehicle remarketing industry, most recently as vice president, national account manager for Chase Auto Finance. He also spent six years at DaimlerChrysler Services and Mercedes Benz Credit where he worked in several roles, including regional manager, vehicle remarketing manager and remarketing sales. A member of NAAA and NADA, Ferreri earned his bachelor’s degree in financial management from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana.
