DETROIT, MI – General Motors has presented the GM Sponsored Auctions Operational Award to Tri-State Auto Auction, a member of the ServNet Auction Group. Tri-State Auto Auction, one of 41 GM Sponsored Auctions nationwide, was recognized as the top-performing GM Sponsored Auction in 2006 in a variety of weighted operating performance metrics.

Tri-State Auto Auction sold more than 9,000 GM used vehicles at GM factory and GMAC open auctions in 2006, finishing the year in second place among all GM Sponsored Auctions. Tri-State Auto Auction, which was named 2003 GM Auction of the Year, joined the GM Sponsored Auctions program in 2001.
