CARMEL, IN – ADESA has announced that Chris Walsh will lead ADESA Southern Indiana as general manager beginning May 14. The auction is located between Indianapolis and Louisville, Ky., in Edinburgh, Ind.

“Chris has an extensive background in and knowledge of the vehicle remarketing industry and will be a real asset for us at this location,” said Tom Caruso, executive vice president of ADESA’s Eastern Region. “This auction has a great location on I-65 in close proximity to three major markets (Indianapolis, Louisville, and Cincinnati), presenting us with a lot of potential for future growth.”

With more than 30 years experience in the automotive industry, Walsh has worked in the remarketing industry both as a wholesaler and at auctions in a variety of roles including as fleet/lease manager and general manager. Before joining ADESA in 1992, she was employed by ADT Automotive in Fort Wayne, Ind. Most recently, she served as ADESA’s senior vice president of commercial operations.

Throughout her career, Walsh has been actively involved in a number of related industry trade associations, including the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA), the National Fleet Administrators Association (NAFA) and the American Fleet Administrators Association.
